ABOUT ME!
I was born in a small but naturally beautiful countryside village, called Tepebasi, in city of Artvin, in Turkey in 01.11.1973.As you see my horoscope is Libra then I like music, sport, swimming and social events. I am also very interested in Turkish folk-dancing. I am happily married with Zuhal, who is Research Assistant at the Deparment of Music in Selcuk University in Turkey. She is currently doing her Educational Doctorate (EdD) at Leicester University. You can see our photos here.

WORK EXPERIENCE
After graduating from the
Primary Teacher Training Programme at Karadeniz
Technical University, I worked as a Primary Teacher in various village
schools in Turkey, for one year. Then, in 1995, I moved to university and
I currently work as a Research Assistant in the Department of Primay Teacher
Training, where I was graduated from. After
completing 6 months intensive English course at Bilkent
University, in 1996, I have started to
my Master degree at the University of Newcastle
Upon Tyne. My study was sponsored by the World Bank/YOK within the
National
Education Development Project (NEDP). In 1997, I completed my MEd degree
and moved to the Nottingham University to do my Doctorate Study in January
1998.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
My particular interest is Applications of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in Primary Schools, and beside that as a primary teacher trainee I am also studying at the university level where I focus on the Professional Development and ICT for pre-service teachers.
